Quintessential day in SoCal – I’d drive the coastline between Laguna and Newport, stopping occasionally to enjoy favorite viewpoints and walks. I’d bring along a beach chair and a book, and time it perfectly to catch the sunset view along Ocean Blvd. in Corona del Mar or at Top of the World in Laguna which is fresh-air perfection!
Unique fact about you – I will explore every nook and cranny I can find in a town! As a native of California, I am equally in love with the mountains and Redwoods as I am with the beach towns. Please don’t tell me an animal needs a home…my family has a weakness for taking them in and foregoing our good intentions to find them a home other than ours.
Entertaining in OC – There are so many directions to go! If friends are outdoorsy, I’d find some nice hikes (especially the ones along the coast) and grab some dinner at Dana Point Harbor or Balboa Island – maybe we’d even sneak in a whale-watching boat ride that always attracts some playful dolphins. If there is anything playing at the Performing Arts Center, we might take in a play or concert or a hockey or baseball game in Anaheim. We might even take a little departure into the world of fantasy, pixie dust, and rides and spend a day at Disneyland. So much to do, so little time!
Six adjectives that BEST describe you – Curious, Optimistic, Loyal, Friendly, Organized, and Empathetic
Tip for newcomers – Make time to enjoy the natural beauty that is just minutes away. Enjoying a beach sunset or a quick drive to a scenic walk can recharge your battery and remind you of why you love living here.
What’s your Quest Story?
My journalism background had me working with newspapers and magazines in Orange County, but the demands of that career didn’t mesh well once we started raising our two girls. A friend introduced me to the relocation industry, and for the past 30 years I’ve enjoyed meeting people from all over the US and the world who are looking to make Orange County their home. Taking the stress out of someone’s long to-do list and connecting a family or individual with what makes their community feel like home is a natural fit as a Quest Consultant.
Quintessential day in SoCal – I would start with a morning hike at Will Rogers State Park with the stunning Pacific Ocean as the backdrop, then I’d enjoy lunch in Pacific Palisades. In the afternoon, I would treat myself to a facial in Studio City and later that evening, my husband and I would meet our friends for dinner at our favorite restaurant in Pasadena, True Food Kitchen.
Unique fact about you – I’m an endurance athlete.
Entertaining in LA – An epic day in LA would start by enjoying a morning run in Santa Monica
with my friends from out of town. Afterwards, lunch in Venice Beach and then off to Koreatown (K-town) for a spa day at Aroma Spa & Sports. In the afternoon, I would take my guests to Griffith Park to hike up to the Hollywood sign at sunset and to view the spectacular LA Basin and explore the iconic Observatory at twilight. Afterwards, we would enjoy amazing cuisine in Thai Town and drive home along the scenic route via Mulholland overlooking the city lights.
Six adjectives that BEST describe you – Resilient, Tenacious, Considerate, Dynamic, Thorough, and Kind
Tip for newcomers – Lean in! The superb Quest team (including myself) will be delighted to
guide you through this pivotal transition and we are dedicated to making your life easier by
streamlining the Relo process.

Quintessential day in SoCal – My quintessential day would start with a walk at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Huntington Beach, where I live, taking photos of all of the unique birds and wildlife there. Next, a visit to Newport Harbor with friends or family where we would rent an electric Duffy Boat and toddle around the harbor with some sandwiches from C’est Si Bon bakery.
Then continuing down the coast, we’d end in Laguna Beach where we’d meander through the Art Museum, and grab some chips and guacamole while we took in the views next door at Las Brisas. We would enjoy some shopping and art galleries as we walked to finish the day with a beautiful sunset at The Rooftop overlooking Catalina Island, the coastline, and the crashing waves.
Unique fact about you – I was named after famed 60’s Native American (Canadian) folk singer Buffy Sainte-Marie.
Entertaining in OC – With world-class Whale Watching available year-round, we always take our visitors on an exciting day on the ocean with Captain Dave’s Dolphin Safari out of the Dana Point Harbor. February and March are the high season and in March the Harbor hosts the annual Whale Festival.

What’s your Quest Story?
Having been with Quest for over 24 years, much of my story IS Quest. But prior to Quest, I worked for several moving companies in inside and outside sales including international corporate relo, where I assisted families moving to other countries from California. But it’s more fun and fulfilling to help families moving TO SoCal – having a caring impact on such a stressful time and making the transition easier for all family members. Orange County has been my home for over 40 years, and I’m always learning new things about this beautiful part of California.
Quintessential day in SoCal – I love an early morning walk at the beach, followed by a bite to eat from one of the many great casual restaurants in Waterside at Marina Del Rey.

Use your weekends to explore somewhere new in this beautiful, sprawling city.
What’s your Quest story?
I’ve been working in Relocation Services for over a decade now and have been with Quest since 2021. As someone who was born and raised in New York and New Jersey, but has made Los Angeles my home for the past thirty-five years, I take a lot of pride in helping people find their footing in this wonderful city.
Quintessential day in SoCal – I’d start with a morning walk around the Rose Bowl, hike to the Hollywood Sign, or a walk along the 20-mile path that runs parallel to the sand from Santa Monica to Manhattan Beach – followed by a treat. Some of my favorites are cinnamon rolls at Just What I Kneaded, sandwiches at Wax Paper in Frogtown, and the famed ricotta brioche toast at Sqirl in Virgil Village (and take home their fabulous jams)! Then, I’d enjoy some retail therapy at all the fabulous boutiques such as Rue De Mimo (South Pasadena), April Blooms (Pasadena), or Soto (Studio City). I’d wrap up the day by catching a show at LA County Arts High School (which is the #1 Arts High School in the US). En route home, I’d swing by Somi Somi in Little Tokyo for some soft serve ice cream.
Unique fact about you – Everyday in the mid-afternoon I have a cookie (and it has to be a noteworthy one)! I’m thrilled that NYC Levain Bakery has opened in Larchmont Village!
Entertaining in LA – You just can’t miss the Rose Bowl Flea Market on the second Sunday of every month in Pasadena. There are great finds from plants to artwork to designer jeans, both new and vintage. I love taking in the outdoor Summer Concerts in many of the communities across LA – I frequent the Sunday Concerts in the Park in La Canada, which make LA feel like a small town!
Six adjectives that BEST describe you – Authentic, People Person, Networker, Real Estate Junkie, Passionate, and Energetic
Tip for newcomers – Take advantage of the beaches, mountains, and deserts and plan to complete all five weekenders in your first year – Palm Springs, Lake Arrowhead/Big Bear, Santa Barbara, San Diego and Catalina (and then do it again)!
What’s your Quest Story?
I’m a SoCal native and USC grad. I found Quest through a teeny ad in the classifieds of the LA Times 25 years ago. Quest founders Diane and Barb were looking for curious souls who would peruse the classifieds (no LInkedin then). Post college, I was in Procter & Gamble sales and sold Crest and Pampers (among other things) … and now I "pedal" LA (and love it)! I run to work everyday and am passionate about guiding our newcomers to a seamless transition to life in SoCal.
Quintessential day in SoCal – My best day starts with prayer, gratitude and a green tea matcha. Fortunately for us living in Los Angeles, everyday can be a new adventure. I’d start the day at an independently owned coffee/tea house with a cool vibe. To get moving, I’d bike along the beach and stop at Burton Chase Park, Marina Del Rey to watch the sea lions living their best lives, lounging on the docks and grunting with their friends. I’d continue on to a Farmers’ Market to browse the homemade wares, food, and grab some organic produce. The evening would end with my tribe, laughing and enjoying the sunset at Perch, a rooftop restaurant in downtown Los Angeles. The last stop would be the Grammy Museum’s intimate sitting room to listen to an artist perform a little and chat about their life story.
Unique fact about you – One of my goals is to experience Key Lime Pie in every state. It’s a work in progress.
Entertaining in LA – Life is an adventure, lean in and enjoy it. The warmer months bring an array of free outdoor entertainment and activities throughout the City. Enjoy sitting in the open air, eating, and experiencing artists perform different genres of live music or live theatre. To start, try the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

Quintessential day in Orlando - I would start my day with a 1-mile walk lined with beautiful flowers in my Lake Mary. I would then meet my son for breakfast at the Colonial Room Restaurant in historic Downtown Sanford, Florida. From there we would launch our boat into the glistening waters at Lake Monroe and stroll to meet the St. John’s River. Next, dock the boat at the Blue Springs State Park where one can bird watch, fish, hike, paddle, scuba dive, watch for manatees, and of course picnic. We like to tube along the calm blue waters. Head back to the boat, stop for lunch at our favorite St. John’s River Grill and return to the Sanford River Walk. My day ends with an evening of Country Line Dancing at The Barn to enjoy a little of Downtown Sanford’s nightlife.

What’s your Quest Story?
I moved to Oviedo in 2001 and got acclimated to the area by way of getting lost and just "figuring it out". I joined the UCF Women's Club which helped me to get somewhat settled. I joined the Design Program at Winter Park Tech in Winter Park, FL. A classmate informed me of an opportunity to become a Destination Services Consultant for another company that led me to the opportunity to become the first Destination Services Consultant for Quest in 2013. I come from a Customer Service background and found the services provided by Quest to be a great fit for me determining the needs and providing services for our newcomers.
Quintessential day in Central Florida – I’d start the day with a bike ride on the West Orange Trail, where I would begin at the Winter Garden Station and travel west through the charming town of Oakland, catch a glimpse of Lake Apopka, and continue to Clermont, where the trail connects with the South Lake Trail. This is where you can really get a work out on some pretty steep hills for Central Florida! On the way back, I’d stop in downtown Winter Garden for a bite to eat at Plant Street Market and take home some fresh Florida produce from the farmers market. It is also fun to stroll down Plant Street for some boutique shopping and stop in for a visit at the Heritage Museum, which displays a history of the region’s citrus industry.
Unique fact about you – I am a second generation native Floridian.
Entertaining in Orlando – Most visitors aren’t aware of Orlando’s vibrant performing arts scene. I aim to provide personalized service to every relocating employee, as each person’s story is unique. It is very rewarding to be an integral part of this process!

I have relocated countless times myself and have lived in several countries and states. I fully understand what it’s like to be in our clients’ shoes.
Quintessential day in SoCal – You can have any kind of day you want to have when Los Angeles is your home. We have it all – from the mountains to the ocean! My favorite day starts with a latte from a local coffeehouse, The Conservatory for Coffee, Tea, & Cocoa located in Culver City. Then I’d bike down Ballona Creek to the ocean and bike to lunch at the Venice Ale House on the Venice Boardwalk where the people-watching is always fun. What’s your Quest Story?
I relocated on my own to “The City of Angels” from “The City of Brotherly Love” straight after finishing high school. I graduated from LMU and the Westside of Los Angeles has been my home for many years. Throughout the years, I have also been instrumental in relocating both my parents and a sister to LA. Prior to joining Quest, my career was in professional recruitment and Quest was the perfect extension from employment to destination services. Given my love for real estate, people, and my passion for the Westside, Quest has provided me with the opportunity to do what I love … showing off the amazing Westside while partnering with wonderful individuals and families and personally assisting them in choosing the place they’d like to call home.
Quintessential Day in SoCal – A morning walk with my dog at Palisades Park in Santa Monica, taking in the gorgeous views up and down the coast, followed by an outdoor brunch at the Georgian Hotel on Ocean Avenue. What’s your Quest story?
Following working in destination services for several years with other companies, I joined Quest as a Consultant in 2021. Immediately upon beginning with Quest, I noticed the stark difference in how they provided their services and supported their clients. Wow! I knew right then and there, that this is where I belonged. It’s a privilege to work with this amazing team of professionals, who truly care for their clients and who go out of their way to customize every relocation program to meet the individual needs of each client.

What’s your Quest Story?
My career for many years was in advertising/sales until I started working full time raising my two children and managing the household. Our family has relocated several times over the years, so when I was approached about the idea of working with Quest and helping other families relocate, well, I was ALL in! Oh, what I would have given over the years to have the help and services Quest provides. I find great pleasure and satisfaction in helping newcomers acclimate to Southern California!
